Seeds of
Potential
Seeds of Potential began in 2024 at Beyond, a digital art exhibition at the Old Flour Mill. In a shared space called Seed, seven artists explored the seed, each through their own perspective.

The work
Returning to
our roots.
The mill’s connection to grain and transformation led me to explore our roots as a source of growth. Each of us carries a seed of potential. Discovering it begins with remembering where we come from.
Transformation
Growing
from within.
I am fascinated by the transformations of nature, from a seed beginning to grow beneath the soil to a caterpillar becoming a butterfly. In them, I see the tenderness of creation and find inspiration for the shifts that can take place in our own consciousness.
Before growth becomes visible, roots develop in darkness, creating a stable foundation for what will emerge above ground. For me, this is an invitation to know ourselves more deeply, with faith and an open mind, and to allow the potential we were born with to unfold and take form in the world.
Visual & material language
Remembering
I chose a soft, optimistic, almost naive visual language and forms drawn from nature. They invite a return to wonder and the openness of seeing the world as if for the first time.
The work took shape in Israel in the aftermath of October 7. Its gentleness stood in contrast to the painful reality around me, expressing a deep desire to remember the good within us. Through creating, I searched for a way back to balance and an inner anchor that sustains my belief in humanity. Even in the deepest darkness, goodness exists. Some of it remains hidden from us, and we come to recognise it through the perspective that time and place bring.

Beyond / Old Flour Mill
Seven perspectives.
One seed.
Beyond transformed the historic mill into an environment for contemporary digital art, bringing its industrial past into conversation with emerging technology. The exhibition invited artists to respond to the history and character of the space.
Within this setting, seven artists shared the theme Seed, each offering a personal interpretation. Seeds of Potential connects the mill’s roots with the intelligence of nature and the human capacity to bring potential into being.

The cards
From exhibition
to cards.
The Seeds of Potential card series grew out of the exhibition, inspired by the Tanya and my five years of studying it. As a descendant of its author, Rabbi Shneur Zalman of Liadi, founder of Chabad Hasidism, I also experience this work as a return to my roots.
For me, studying the Tanya is an invitation to see life from the soul’s perspective, recognise our inner potential and express it through thought, speech and action. Through images and reflections, the cards invite us to pause, broaden our perspective and bring this awareness into everyday choices that enrich our lives.
